Natural Park of Paneveggio Pale di San Martino
The territory of the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park is located in the Eastern Alps (Dolomites Eastern Trentino) and develops around the catchment areas of the Cismon, Vanoi and Travignolo torrents, including the Val Venegia, the Paneveggio Forest, a large portion of the Group of Pale di San Martino, the eastern end of the Lagorai chain and a part of the Lusia - Cima Bocche chain, areas that constitute Sites of Community Importance and Special Protection Areas within the "Natura 2000" European Network.
The extraordinary Gruppo delle Pale di San Martino is one of the nine mountain groups included in the list of natural heritage recognized by Unesco, a World Heritage Site.
Very large protected nature park, many walking paths suitable for everyone. Walk through the Violin Forest where you can see and admire the Red Fir with its very precious wood. The undergrowth is very beautiful and it is particularly evocative to cross the suspension bridge. Do not forget to go near the net where the Cervi, now accustomed to man, wait for carrots for their delicious food.
It is a beautiful nature and for this reason, it is an environment that must be respected.
